As a youth, Andres began his sculpting career by modeling in clay, and discovered his interest and talent in creating three-dimensional art.
After maturing his techniques in clay, Andres then felt the need to further develop his art by working in stone, wood, and metal.
In recent years he has specialized solely in working with stone as he feels that this is the material he most strongly identifies with, and by exploiting the maximum possibilities of the stone, allows him to play with form, texture, and contrast in a way that best expresses
His work is represented in:
The World Sculpture Park. Changchun, China.
“Sculptures from the End of the Century”. Seoul Metropolitan Museum of Art. Seoul, South Korea.
Private and public collections in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Since 1999 he is member of the International Association of Sculpture. Seoul, South Korea.
